About Mike Sielski
Mike Sielski has written sports columns for The Philadelphia Inquirer since 2013. Earlier, he worked as a reporter at The Wall Street Journal, and he also co-hosts on Sports Radio 94 WIP. In 2015 he was named America's best sports columnist by the Associated Press Sports Editors. His books include The Rise: Kobe Bryant and the Pursuit of Immortality and Magic in the Air: The Myth, the Mystery, and the Soul of the Slam Dunk. He also wrote Fading Echoes and co-wrote How to Be Like Jackie Robinson. Some of his work has appeared in The Best American Sports Writing. He lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
